Criminal Injury Compensation Claims

Help is available if you have been impacted by a crime.

If you are a victim of a violent crime – violent crimes may include murder, attempted murder, firearm offences, poisoning, arson and other offences such as assault, sexual assault, domestic assault (e.g. abuse by a spouse/partner) – you are eligible for healing support and compensation for your losses. Survivors often require a variety of costly supports and do not have the money to afford it. With a claim of this nature you can receive the treatment you need to grieve what happened, recover your losses, and move forward in your life, without having to worry about meeting the cost on your own.

In order to be eligible for funding you must fill out a claim with the board and I can help you with these reports. Click here to find the Compensation Board in your province. In addition, it is important to seek psychologists, psychiatrists, and other means of support so you can get the best care and evidence of injury  to support your claim.
