About Zoraah

Zoraah is the principal healer of the Viia Adores Lovelight Atelier. When Zoraah was little, she heard voices that gave her information about people, places and things that turned out to be both useful and correct. She thought she had access to a secret world she could never tell anyone else about. No one else talked about hearing voices, communicated with animals, or seemed to hear these messages from the air, so she kept these experiences to herself.

In addition to being psychic, Zoraah was a naturally gifted healer and counsellor as a child with all ages of people coming to sit with her when she was as young as five years old. They would share their stories, describe their problems and ask her for support. Zoraah would ask her ‘clients’ to lay down after they told her about what was going on, and she would place her hands on their body to add extra energy and remove energetic blocks. The value of these innate gifts was not thoroughly recognized until much later in life; however, it is now totally clear that these qualities are integral to the quintessential nature of her spirit.

In highschool she attended the exclusive high-IQ programs Prince of Wales Mini School, an offshoot of Prince of Wales Secondary,  followed by the International Baccalaureate program at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary. During highschool Zoraah spent a great deal of time learning survival skills and outdoor leadership. She found a deep passion for creating art, music, and learning how to snowboard. In school Zoraah was an honours academic, championship athlete, performing and composing musician on various instruments, and a skilled fine artist. Though her interests and creativity were vast, these activities could not keep her deep unhappiness at bay.

By the time Zoraah was diagnosed with severe depression in University she was smoking and drinking every day.  It was suggested she leave Simon Fraser University to take a year off, which she did. Almost exactly one year to the day after leaving University, she was rear-ended in a vehicular accident. When this happened, her whole life changed dramatically and she had to learn how to live her life all over again.

For most of the first 5 years following the accident, Zoraah could not read English or participate in regular conversations. She was diagnosed with all kinds of labels: depressive, Skitsophrenic, bi-polar, addictive personality… because no one could find evidence of a head injury or really understand what was going on with her. She experienced visual hallucinations of shadowy people and cats, as well as often seeing her vision go watery, tunnel-out, and be filled with dark spots. On the advice of doctors and a severe loss of even basic daily self-care skills, she tried different kinds of psychiatric medication (one of which took away her ability to see in 3-D which made her fall down a flight of stairs). This type of “medicine” did not go very well until she found Seroquel; however, even Seroquel left her feeling hollow, ungrounded, uncared for, and without a sense of self. After a few years on psychiatric medication, now legally considered a Person With A Disability she realized that this model of “healing” was not going to heal her.

Eventually her mother found Dr. Hoffer in Victoria, BC, a world-renowned psychiatrist and president of the International Society of Orthomolecular Medicine, who prescribed vitamins in addition to pharmaceutical medications in order to heal his clients. Because of the distance to visit him and his age at the time, she transitioned to working with Dr. Wulff in Vancouver who also supported the use of vitamins in conjunction with the use of pharmaceutical medication. Slowly over the years the damaging effects of the car accident waned, and Zoraah was able to develop her life skills and self-care. She focused on nutrition, exercise, and she started taking pottery classes at The Art Studio, a public health initiative for people living with mental illnesses.

As her health improved she volunteered her slowly recovering skills as a matting and framing instructor, a fine arts instructor for teens living with mental health issues, won a few design competitions, and sat on various boards and hiring committees. She kept minutes, chaired monthly meetings with members and staff. Later, she was hired to co-manage a capacity building project for people living with mental illnesses at Vancouver Coastal Health. This program fell through, but Zoraah continued to develop herself and find ways to contribute to her community.

After a few years of following the recommendations of these Orthomolecular psychiatrists, using a restricted diet, nutritional supplementation, daily exercise, and meditation, Zoraah was able to eliminate medication altogether from her daily routine and reclaim her sense of self as a healthy, productive being. Zoraah spoke at the Nutritional Medicine Today 35th Annual International Conference in 2006. Her talk roused the audience of mostly parents, family members, and people living with mental health disabilities to great applause with a long-line of Q&A and hands to shake afterwards.

Following this time, Zoraah spent a lot of her spare time connecting to the Hay House radio online community of psychics, healers and life coaches. She explored psychic development, binaural beats, hypnosis, EFT, read books, watched movies, and tried many different ways to create lasting happiness, abundance, and good relationships. Zoraah quickly found herself gravitating towards Denise Linn, Sonia Choquette and Doreen Virtue.

During this time Zoraah felt healthy enough, but remained chronically unsatisfied at the quality of love in her life. She decided to go on a radical quest to experience a greater sense of love and integrity. She read even more books, watched  more movies, talked to people she met on the street and in cafes, and practiced  what she had heard on Hay House Radio, letting her intuition guide her towards love.

Catalina, the Shamans Assistant, and Zoraah on the boat in Bahia, Brasil

This quest took her all the way to Brasil to drink Ayahuasca 11 times with a Columbian Shaman named Warinei, hosted by a group called Heart of The Initiate. After powerful visionary experiences, Zoraah entered a Summer of dedicated psychic development guided by the work of  Sonia Choquette and Doreen Virtue. She also connected with the people at ThinkFree and put on a community event at Chapel Arts to support their local initiatives in social justice.

Eventually, she was given an administrator position to help them with product sales, customer satisfaction, event production, marketing and administration. This was a challenging but interesting time and Zoraah learned quickly how to manage other people’s money, change their marketing strategy, and improve their sales and customer service. She increased their membership internationally by thousands upon thousands of people.

Later in 2008 Zoraah travelled to Chicago and received an amazing in-person training in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage from Cuki Choquette [one of the few 'white' people to ever live on the land with the Hawaiians and study Lomi Lomi in-depth]. She also traveled to Chicago and Kona, again, to become a  Certified Six Sensory™   and Licenced Angel Therapy Practitioner®

Later that year in 2008, Zoraah was offered  a CCMBA/CCSMC treatment through a new acquaintance named ‘Merlin’.  As a result of the profound impact of this healing session, she took several of   Dr. Sharon Forrest‘s workshops to learn Hawaii’an Temple Healing, Multigenerational Emotional Clearing (Ho’oponopono), CCMBA/CCSMC, Black Pearl and more… She administrated the paperwork for Sharon’s initiative The Wayshowers Society, a Provincially and Federally regulated non-profit intended to help the poor children of the street, and the last of the Royal Inca, living destitute in the hills of Peru.

With all this experience Zoraah offers you a chance to bring your world back to balance the fastest, easiest, and most permanent ways she knows how: through nutrition, psychic development, morphogenetic energy healing and academic know-how. Zoraah is ‘in the trenches with you’, continuing to work on her own personal, planetary, and Universal healing. “I think the single, most important event in history will be when everyone in the world comprehends, accepts, and admits to being God. If we live in a hologram, this is the nature of our collective reality. At once, we are simultaneously unified as one, and differentiated as many, not unlike a pyramid. It is our consciousness that is causal and connected, the material world our effect. It is the illusion of these boundaries that traps us in the appearance of time, space, and difference, which can leave us disconnected.

When we attend to the causal nature of reality, through heartfelt consciousness, we have the freedom and power to create our life from our heart. It is not some stroke of luck that we are able to create a life we love from our heart. In fact, nature is designed to be responsive to Love, more than any other force of nature. Your Spirit, which is made of Love, is the captain of your space-ship (body). To have influence over the world of effect, you must first have influence over yourself, and that requires you live life from your Spirit in the way of Self-Love.

For some, learning Forgiveness is essential here, because forgiveness releases your mind from the illusion that others have power over you. No one and no thing in the entire holographic cosmos can have power over you, because no one, not even an Angel can violate your free-will. Your spiritually aligned free-will consciousness determines every single outcome in your life, period. Just because you may not be paying attention to what it is you are doing, does not make it so. All suffering comes from the desire to learn, live, and support others, and in this way we eventually reduce suffering because it is not very fun or healthy. For victims of violent crimes, or abusive situations, this can be an exceptionally hard intellectual obstacle to overcome; but overcome you shall, for your Spirit desires to live, and so shall you!” ~ Zoraah

“A human being is part of the whole called by us universe … We experience ourselves, our thoughts & feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. The true value of a human being is determined by the measure & the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self. We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if humanity is to survive.” ~ Albert Einstein

“It is now 1996, and the existence of psi and psychic phenomena are now generally accepted as real. Twenty-five years ago they WERE NOT, and were vigorously condemned by the scientific, academic and media mainstreams as hallucinatory and/or the products of deranged minds. Various formats of psi are still referred to that way — for example, in the DIAGNOSTIC AND STATISTICAL MANUAL OF MENTAL DISORDERS published by the American Psychiatric Association. And, it’s worth pointing out, that it was because of this prevailing condemnation that the intelligence community of the early 1970s had enormous qualms about getting mixed up with things that were so “controversial.” – Ingo Swann, Biomind Superpowers, Chapter 20

“Man is moving in consciousness out of a world of static solid forms into a world of dynamic energy patterns. This is his problem and his opportunity. As a prisoner of the five senses, he has experienced his world as `solid’, `concrete’, `rigid.’ Today, he has entered a fluid intangible world of vibrating, radiating energy.

Life adapts to environment. Man plunged into this new environment, a universe that is nothing but frequency, and must necessarily make new adaptations. He must achieve an ability to more directly experience a world of frequency. In order to do this, he must develop new senses or expand those senses which he already has. There is abundant evidence that many human beings are already expanding the usual five senses which he already has.
“There is abundant evidence that many human beings are already expanding the usual five senses into super sensory levels. It is possible that there is already a `mutation in consciousness’ taking place. . . .

We are moving from a study of anatomy, physiology and pathology, the denser aspects of the physical form, to a study of the electrical impulses which the body generates.” – Shafica Karagulla, M.D., Breakthrough To Creativity
